Do you suffer from Imposter Syndrome?
Imposter Syndrome is loosely defined as doubting your abilities and feeling like a fraud.
What if instead of listening to the negative voice inside your head that’s creating self doubt and a feeling of inadequacy…
You viewed your situation as a thought you’re thinking about yourself that’s not aligned with who you want to be..
What if Imposter Syndrome was simply viewed as Misalignment?
You’re not aligned on the inside with how you’re showing up on the outside and vise versa.
Why are words important?
Because the words we choose to use have tremendous power as they create how we feel.
The word Imposter feels dark, judgemental and negative.
There’s much more space for curiosity, creativity and growth using the word Misaligned.
Using the word Misaligned, opens the door for ways to become Aligned, to feel the same about yourself on inside as you project yourself on the outside.
This week as you show up for your life and work, notice where the misalignments happen.
Where are you?
What are you doing?
Who are you surrounded by?
In that moment notice your thoughts, notice the words you're using.
Ask yourself how you can shift your thinking to believe in the person you want to show up as.
Are you the professional that believes she's a fraud?
Are you the entrepreneur that believe she's a failure?
Are you the empty nester that believe she's got nothing left?
Start to believe whatever makes you feel successful, authentic and joyful and live in that alignment.
