Last weekend I had another big aha moment on my Saturday bike ride and couldn't wait to share it with you.
As entrepreneurs it's so easy to get caught up with the day to day hustle of running a business that it seldom leaves room for anything outside of your to-do list.
When we're so busy grinding away it often leads to burn out, exhaustion and horrible self care.
Here's a little something I shared with a client last week that ended up being a big something for their business, wellbeing and relationships.
Catch the little something I offered in this video here.
. . . Seems simple right? So simple that it's easy to miss or not plan.
But I've found two huge benefits to scheduling your fun and play first before scheduling all the to-do's and tasks of the week:
1) Scheduling fun first gives your brain something to look forward to. During the challenges of the week you have a date on the calendar to send your focus to as a reward.
2) When you step away from your business and allow yourself to play, your brain gets a break from the day to day. The result is returning refreshed with new ideas and solutions to problems you may never have thought of while grinding away all day.
This simple process created calm and spiked productivity in my current clients workday...and I firmly believe if you make this one change suggested - it can be the game changer in your business and life too!
