Useless ➡️ Useful Thinking..

➡️ The pandemic is a Circumstance.


➡️ Your thoughts about the circumstance will determine how you feel.


➡️ How you feel will drive your actions.


➡️ Your actions will give you a result.


👉 your result will always confirm your original thoughts.


Stop and notice today what you are thinking. If you are feeling stressed or worried, ask yourself why? Hear your answer - that answer is what you are thinking.


Is what you are thinking useful to you in this moment?


Does it make you feel better?


If not, you have the choice to think something else that is.


Below are some common useless thoughts our brain serves us and a useful thought that can replace it.


Useless thought: ➡️ I don’t know what to do.

Useful thought: ➡️ I’ll figure this out.



Useless thought: ➡️ I don’t want to make the wrong decision.

Useful thought: ➡️ I may make the wrong decision, that’s ok, it’s doesn’t mean anything has gone wrong.



Useless thought: ➡️ I’m worried about my financial future.

Useful thought: ➡️ I have money for everything I need today.



Growing your mindset is training your brain. Just like any other muscle in your body - you have to keep working it to build it stronger.


Becoming aware and intentional with what you want to think takes effort and practice.


Many people think that coaches have everything figured out and that we’re always glass half full people.


NOT TRUE. Trust me - this does not come naturally. Especially when the research confirms that our brain goes to the negative 70% more than the positive.


It’s like any other muscle that needs to be worked to get stronger - I personally have to check in with it every.single.day. and many times throughout the day.


It’s the only way to make real change with how you feel -

being proactive with how you want to think instead of living in reactionary mode.
